The course is well planned giving practical safety Training and also provides a rare opportunity for each Trainee to experience real-life danger (done in a controlled manner/environment).


This course familiarizes the trainees to many aspects of Health and Safety at work and is planned to raise safety standards and awareness to reduce/eliminate personal injury onboard. The course is designed to enhance the ability of trainees to know how to recognize/identify hazards and safely manage them.

Demonstration of the following

  • Proper use of Body Harness
  • Importance of use of Helmet
  • How safety shoes prevent foot injury
  • Dangers associated with the use of Ladders, Scaffoldings
  • Dangers associated with manual lifting, handling of steel plates and pipes
  • Dangers associated while working on rotating machines
  • Dangers associated with electric welding
  • Dangers associated with electricity

    1 day (8 hrs.)
